Video Games

1991: Intel announces a temporary halt to production of the 50 MHz 486DX processor, due to problems in manufacturing and testing.

1995: In the first four days of its release, one million copies of Windows 95 have been sold.

1997: Sony releases the Dual Analog controller for the PlayStation in the US.

1998: Advanced Micro Devices releases the 350 MHz K6-2 processor. Price is US$317 in 1000-unit quantities.

1999: In Tokyo, Japan, the Space World '99 show is held. Nintendo reveals the 64DD, an attachment to the Nintendo 64 allowing storage of game data and access to the Internet.
