1989: Lotus Development ships Lotus 1-2-3 Release 2.2 for MS-DOS.
1990: Nintendo releases the Dr. Mario video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System in the US.
1990: NEC releases the Ghouls 'n Ghosts video game for the PC Engine in Japan.
1999: Nintendo releases the Mario Golf 64 video game for the Nintendo 64 in the US.
2003: The Fox Broadcasting Company airs the Futurama TV show in the US. On an island of obsolete robots, one is labeled "SINCLAIR 2K", who is obsolete because it does not have enough memory. This is likely a reference to the Timex/Sinclair 1000 microcomputers of 1982 with 2 kB of RAM.
2004: Microsoft releases Service Pack 1 for Office 2003, containing bug fixes and stability improvements.
2004: Nokia releases the N-Gage QD handheld video game system in the US. It features bottom-mounted slot for MMC game cards, 1.6 x 1.9 inch 176x208 resolution color screen, 8-way game pad, Bluetooth connectivity, 104 MHz ARM processor, Symbian 6.0 operating system, no MP3 player, no radio, no USB port.
