1991: Apple Computer and IBM sign a technology sharing agreement, to integrate the Mac into IBM's enterprise systems, to allow future RISC-based Macs to use IBM's Power PC chip, to work together on common multimedia standards, and to co-operatively produce a new object-oriented operating system.
1999: In Weirs Beach, New Hampshire, over six hours Billy Mitchell plays a "perfect" game of the arcade game Pac-Man, achieving the highest score that the game allows: 3,333,360. This can only be accomplished by guiding Pac-Man to eat every dot, fruit, and ghost in all 256 levels without dying.

2003: In Oakland, California, a pre-trial hearing is held in a patent dispute case of InterTrust versus Microsoft. The judge rules against Microsoft on all 33 disputed issues. InterTrust claims patent infringement of digital security technology in Windows XP, Office XP Suite, Windows Media Player, Xbox, .NET platform, and more.
