Video Games

1989: In Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the World of Commodore trade show is held, over five days.

2003: The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the US. A personal computer is shown in a house, displaying a web site.

2004: Ubisoft releases the Ghost Recon 2 video game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox in the US.

2004: Square Enix releases the Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls video game for the Game Boy Advance in the US.

2006: Microsoft officially releases the Windows Vista operating system to corporate clients. The software is comprised of 50 million lines of source code.

2008: The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the US. A computer store in a mall has a logo like the Apple company. with laptop and desktop computers that look like Apple products. A man runs into the store and throws a sledgehammer at the large screen displaying the company CEO, like the "1984" Apple ad introducing the Macintosh. A laptop computer with an Apple-like logo is used at a house. A package is delivered in a box with double-bite apple logo and "MAPPLE".

1988: The Disney Channel begins airing Good Morning, Miss Bliss.

2007: Death of Robert Craig "Evel" Knievel, American motorcycle daredevil, of pulmonary fibrosis at age 69 (born 1938).
