1998: Acclaim Entertainment releases the Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II video games for the Game Boy in Japan.
1998: Sony CEA releases the Spyro the Dragon video game for the PlayStation in the US.
2001: Nintendo releases the Advance Wars video game for the Game Boy Advance in the US.
2002: At the Apple Expo in Paris, France, Apple Computer announces that Mac computers shipping in January will boot to Mac OS X only.
2004: Screen Gems releases the film Resident Evil: Apocalypse in the USA. A Sony VAIO laptop computer appears.
